FLAMINGO TOWING SOUTH CORP.
COOKIE POLICY

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Flamingo Towing South Corp. (“Flamingo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at flamingotowing.com (the “Site”), why we use them, and the choices available to you. This Policy is incorporated into, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy / Data Processing Policy.

By continuing to browse or use the Site, you agree that we can place the categories of cookies described below on your device, unless you disable them in accordance with this Policy.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, phone, or other device when you visit. They allow a site to recognize your device, remember information about your visit (such as your preferences or actions), and, in some cases, are used to report usage statistics or support security functions. Some cookies are set by us directly (“first-party cookies”); others are set by third-party services embedded in our Site, such as Google (“third-party cookies”).

This Policy also covers similar technologies that function like cookies, including local storage and tracking pixels, where applicable.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies on the Site:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies — Required for the Site to function, including basic navigation, form submission, and security features such as spam and bot protection. The Site cannot operate properly without these, and they cannot be switched off through our cookie tool.
  • Functional Cookies — Support the operation of features delivered through our website page builder (Elementor / Elementor Pro), such as forms and interactive page elements.
  • Analytics / Performance Cookies — Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site (pages viewed, time on page, traffic sources) through Google Analytics 4, so we can improve content and performance.
  • Third-Party Security Cookies — Set by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which is integrated into our Elementor Pro forms (Contact, Become a Subcontractor, and Careers) to detect and prevent automated/bot submissions.

4. Cookies Used on This Site

The table below reflects the cookies and similar identifiers currently associated with the tools integrated into the Site. Because Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, and other third-party services may update the specific cookies they set, this list is representative rather than exhaustive, and we encourage you to also review Google’s own policies referenced in Section 5.

5. Google Services Used on This Site

Our Site integrates the following Google services, each of which may set cookies or process data as described in Google’s own privacy documentation:

  • Google Analytics 4 — used to measure and understand Site traffic and visitor behavior in aggregate.
  • Google reCAPTCHA v3 — embedded within our Elementor Pro forms to protect the Contact Us, Become a Subcontractor, and Careers forms from spam, abuse, and automated submissions. reCAPTCHA v3 operates in the background and does not require visitors to complete a challenge, but it does collect hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and send it to Google for analysis.
  • Google Search Console — used by us to monitor and maintain the Site’s presence in Google Search results. Search Console verification does not itself set cookies on visitors’ devices; it operates through domain/file verification and aggregated, anonymized search-performance data provided by Google.

Because reCAPTCHA is present on the Site, your use of any page containing a Flamingo form is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Google Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms).

6. How Long Do Cookies Last?

Session cookies are temporary and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period (see the table in Section 4) or until you delete them manually. Third-party cookies set by Google are governed by Google’s own retention practices.

7. Your Cookie Choices

You have several ways to control or limit cookies:

  • Browser Settings — Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings menu. Instructions vary by browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and are available on each browser provider’s support site.
  • Google Analytics Opt-Out — You may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics.
  • Do Not Track — Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to them.

Please note that blocking or deleting certain cookies — particularly those related to reCAPTCHA — may prevent you from successfully submitting forms on the Site, including the Contact Us, Become a Subcontractor, and Careers/Apply Now forms.

8. Changes to Our Cookie Use

As our Site evolves — for example, if we add new marketing, chat, or advertising tools — the categories and specific cookies described in this Policy may change. We will update this Policy and revise the “Last Updated” date accordingly. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

9. Relationship to Our Privacy Policy

This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy / Data Processing Policy, which describes in greater detail what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights available to you. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Privacy Policy regarding cookies specifically, this Cookie Policy controls.
